Our friend “Angel” Crisa knew that everyone would love what she planned to wear. Does she wear clothing like this at home in Romania? “Yes! Westerners have a very outdated, cliched image of Romanian fashion and style,” Crisa says. “They think of Romanian women dressing like Soviet women from the 1950’s, wearing head scarfs and farmer’s wife clothing, like in the old Iron Block days of our grandmothers.
